MY APPROACH
Healing at the Pace of Trust
Working with neurodivergent adults through
EMDR and Internal Family Systems
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps your brain process difficult memories and experiences. When we go through overwhelming events, sometimes our brains can't fully process what happened. These unprocessed experiences can show up later as anxiety, flashbacks, or feeling stuck.
EMDR uses bilateral stimulation - like eye movements or tapping - to help your brain do what it naturally wants to do: heal. Many people find relief faster than they expected, as the emotional charge of difficult memories decreases.
Processing Difficult Memories
EMDR helps your brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories, reducing their emotional intensity.
Bilateral Stimulation
Through gentle eye movements or tapping, we help activate your brain's natural healing processes.
Releasing What's Stuck
When experiences get 'stuck' in your nervous system, EMDR helps them move through and integrate.
Understanding Your Parts
We all have different 'parts' - protectors, exiles, managers. IFS helps you understand and befriend them.
Honoring Protectors
Those protective parts that developed—anxiety, perfectionism, avoidance—they were trying to help you survive.
Accessing Self-Energy
Beneath all the parts lives your core Self—strong, wise, and intuitive. We help you lead from here.
IFS Therapy
Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems recognizes that we all have different 'parts' of ourselves—and that's completely natural. Some parts protect us (sometimes in ways that no longer serve us), some carry pain from the past, and some help us function day-to-day.
In IFS, we learn to approach all our parts with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. We thank our protectors for their hard work. We gently witness the parts that carry old pain. And we connect with Self-Energy at our core that can lead the whole system toward healing.
