Listening to some sloppy love songs and if the love is high on the beats and as they say “ little love can change the world”, how can I but not write a few mawkish lines myself.
The year is also on the close, another day, another moment gone. Times and tides wait for none but we, the mortals wait for our perfect moment, a perfect time besetting the multiple instances of joy, of eternal love and togetherness. We build a perfect world in our heads, where the cruelties of a practical and mechanical world are things made for a person who never knew how to be in this perfect emotion, never knew how to be complete. May be he did, may be everything was taken away by the stoned societal norms, where the animal rules the sensitivities of his heart, in a show business where its all staged, and artificial.
But it wont last whenever he would he see himself helplessly and hopelessly in love, where nothing and noone can make him a bit more happy than he could be when he is there with the object of his desire, when the society is fickle, and when the celebrations of love the eternal truth and bliss for his existence. But once the moment vanishes, he is bereft, trustin noone, where he cant comfort himself with the rules of the world, and then he has to become that animal again from where he evolved to a human being. He is left with no choices, no rules, no truth but fallacy of a game which he never wanted to be a part, that engulfed him, his persona and his whole being. And he is helpless, so helpless.
Isn’t it a pity that we all know how to love, how to “fall in love”, how to capture our perfect moments in our lives, but cant ever possibly make it last for good. We call it helplessness, destiny to be estranged and console ourselves. Pity it is that we never realize the moment we fall in love, and when we are falling apart in it, we are aware of every second, every miniscule of time and still cant do a thing about it.
Only if we could, just live for something that meant/means something to each and every one of us, and not lose it to the might hands of the troubled times. Only if we could evolve to that level, and not spiral down to be an animal again. But these words would be lost in sands of times, long forgotten before it may start making sense to you, to every one of us.
And the time has begun.
Lot many stories and philosophies have been said in defining the universal feeling called Love and lot many hearts ruled and ruined by its mighty hands.Its been there in the ageless epics, and as a good money fetcher to an Film entrepreneur who makes us see our own lives in more eloquent and colorful way, and we buy our own stories coz we see ourselves somewhere in the songs and rains, in the hurt and pains of the editor’s ink and pen.
Lets rise a bit higher and wake our lives to something more meaningful, and indeed more justified. We all have survived the sufferings and pains and have ostensibly evolved us to a greater level of hierarchy but still we continue to live ourselves like an ant in its colony. We are ruled by the Laws, rules not to say certain things, not to do lot of things for the benefit of our Society. We forsake the individuality to be a machine which switches to the OR and AND GATES of society. We curb ourselves, the good and the bad, to be more acceptable and sociable;for the fear of getting rejected is there somewhere deep within. We all, as human bodies have same laws of biological survival, mind and heart, chemical reactions for growth, maintenance ruling us. Then what is it that sets us apart, what about our individuality when each every one of us is ruled and governed by the cycle of birth, growth and death. Someone rightly said that our individuality is nothing but choices we make, But does our choice and goodwill lie in being ruled by the norms of a fickle society which defines right and wrong for us,. Agreed that we shouldn’t hurt someone in any small way by our reasons and thoughts, but the question is far beyond that..!! Shouldn’t we live our life to the fullest before succumbing to inevitable darkness??
Our dreams testify the desires and thoughts of our subconscious mind, numbed to any artificial rules and laws of society. We feel free in our dreams, but then we wake each single day to be tamed by the unjustifiable norms.
Its not a rebel writing this, but a person striving to make some life outta this mechanical daily routines..!!
But then it’s a long long way to go before we evolve to this deeper level of harmony and to have said truly lived our lives before I succumbed to the Eternity.
